Mission Statement
We are a group of committed Montessori teachers at the Elementary and Secondary level in the public school system in British Columbia. As part of our efforts to create a strong Montessori community, we hold yearly conferences, provide resources, facilitate workshops and advocate for our members
The Montessori PSA aims to develop, enhance, enrich and support our Montessori practice. We can accomplish this by enhancing connections, fostering mentorship; promoting more local (in-school, district, provincial) professional development workshops; acknowledging our needs as well as recognizing our achievements; and, celebrating our purpose – our Montessori directed teaching.
